Organic honey
In the far south of the peninsula lies the province of Catanzaro on Calabria’s Ionian coast. There, the organically run Ursino agribusiness produces high-quality honey and other products in two different oases teeming with lush fruit trees and flower-rich vegetation that the bees pollinate undisturbed.
The "honey brothers" - Valerio and Patrizio - have exponentially increased the number of bee families, producing different types of single-flower honey and adopting the practice of nomadism.

The Orange Coast is often touched by wind that removes pollutants and enables the crops to absorb near-zero environmental pollution.
The primary purpose of Ursino Bio's green project is to give continuity to the culture of agricultural work that has always driven rural Calabria’s economy and to keep the heritage of millennia-old knowledge and experience alive along with the integrity of the surroundings.
